Around Christmas an opportunity came available and after much discussion between Joey and I and also with our family we decided to step out in faith and trust God. Joey spent a week there to check things out and came home knowing without a doubt that this was what we were supposed to do.
But as you know, with opportunity comes challenge. We decided for Joey to go ahead and move down, and as soon as school was out and the house sold that the kids and I would follow. He left last week and we are now going on our second week without him. We did get a brief visit from him Friday night. He came up to pick up Bre. After much discussion we decided it would be best for Bre to go ahead and move with him. She experienced so many challenges in the high school she attends. We wanted her to go ahead and get started in her new school where she could pursue all the things she loves without others causing her to fail. She's so excited to get there and make new friends.
The hard part begins now. The last time our family was seperated was when Colt was in the hospital for long periods. Joey and I have never been apart, and I know he's going to have a really hard time being away from the little ones. Hopefully we'll get some devine intervention and the kids and I can get there sooner.
This is going to be a great adventure! More details to come! So stay tuned!
