As far as the new doc, he was amazing. You walk in his office and there is a picture of a Dr. sitting at his desk with Jesus standing behind him! He was a God send! We had a nice little chat, and discussed lots of things including induction, episiotomy, C-section, our children, and more! As far as induction goes, I was induced with Colt and Luke, but not sure if I am going to go that route this time. With Luke, I didn't have an option. I was getting a little pre-eclamsia. I kind of want to go into labor on my own this time around. I may change my mind when I'm 39 weeks and miserable, but he said he would induce at 39 weeks if I was ready. Which I would have to be at least dilated to a 2, and thinning. I know TMI. He said he would not do anything that puts the baby at risk regardless of what I wanted. He only has a 15% C-section rate, so he said he would do all he could to prevent that, and I'm thankful for that because I do NOT want a C-section! If she were to be breech, he will attempt to turn her.
As far as weight gain, I had gained 2 more pounds. Total weight gain is 12lbs now, which I believe is great! Considering, I usually gain 40+ during pregnancy! I don't want to gain more than 10 more lbs during the next 3 months, and unless I begin to swell I think it will be no problem. Haha! On a fun note, we are going for a 4D ultrasound in about 2 weeks. I'm excited to get a little sneak peak of Miss Luci Colt!
