Since Luke had such a bad virus Thursday and Friday, I decided to go ahead and cancel his birthday party on Saturday. He was feeling much better Saturday of course. I had already ordered the cake so we went ahead and cooked out, had birthday cake, and stayed home Saturday night. He's still asking when he is having his big birthday party, so I'm planning to reschedule a party for him and have the whole family out real soon. Hopefully it will dry up and we can just do something here at home.
Luke got a wii for his birthday and we had a blast playing it Saturday night. I'm actually a little sore from all the dancing! The game "Just Dance" is such a blast, and Jolea is actually pretty good at it! Here are a few pictures!
Luke Dancing to "who let the dogs out"! It was hilarious!
Jolea doing the "lawnmower"!
This girl can move!
My sister bought this snake and paints for Luke for his birthday. He loved it!!
These are his latest lego creations. He got both of these for his birthday and had them put together the same day!
I also wanted to add that I won a video camera from a blog giveaway!! I am so excited! I won it over at Precious Cupcakes! She has another giveaway going on right now so head on over and enter to win!

Luke turned 6 years old today! He is very excited but is not getting to enjoy his day due to a nasty stomach virus that he's battling today. :( We got up for school this morning, and Luke always gets up and lays on the couch. Well he mentioned to me that his tummy was hurting, but I didn't think much about it and then the contents of his tummy went all over my couch and rug! So, needless to say, it's been a pretty rough morning so far for my birthday boy. He's finally fallen back to sleep now so I thought I'd try to get on and post some pictures of him for his birthday! It is just so hard to believe he is 6. He will always be my baby though no matter how old he is. We are having his birthday party Saturday so I'll post some pictures of his party after that! Here are a few pics, I may post more later, but I have to get back to lysoling!!!
I love his expression in this picture! This was his first trip to Disney World, and we were watching the spectromagic parade! Love it!!

Well spring break has come to an end. We had such a great week, and the weather was amazing. Needless to say a cold front came in last night and brought us cold air, rain, and possible snow tonight. Hopefully this will be the last cold weather to come through! We are hoping for warm weather next weekend because my baby boy is turning 6 and we are having him a party on Saturday! It's hard to believe he is getting so big! Before I move on to the pictures I have a couple of prayer requests. Please keep Nate Oxford, and also Walker Rainey in your prayers! Both of these precious boys are fighting cancer.
Luke has been begging for legos, and I have been so reluctant in buying because I thought they would just be way to hard for him to put together. Well surprise, surprise he was a champ at it. He put these together without my help! I was so shocked! He's definitely his father's son. So smart!
He first built a helicopter, then turned around and built this boat. Amazing!

It is only day two of spring break, and we have had so much fun doing nothing! It was beautiful outside yesterday so the kids, Joey, and I and just hung out around here. Today was a little gloomy and chilly so it was pretty much a day of being lazy, or I should say the kids were lazy, I cleaned house! I'm really loving my new camera as well. I pretty much carry it everywhere. I took so many pictures yesterday including the ones of Jolea. I'm doing a photography workshop this summer and can not wait. There is so much I want to learn and do, and this workshop is really going to get me started. Ok, now I'm getting off topic!!! Here are some pictures from yesterday!
Luke and Brea were seeing who could jump the farthest out of the swing. Brea cheated and Luke was not happy about it, so this(above) led to this (below).
Which led to this.........
And eventually led to this.......
We also blew bubbles!
Watched Brea tumble......
Climbed, and climbed, and climbed......
And we had a visitor... Mr. Turkey!
I think he heard the kids playing and decided to come over and play.
Is this some hunting dog or what?
