First Summer Tournament

Brea played her first summer tournament this weekend and boy was it a scorcher! We survived the 102 degree temperatures though, and the team took 4th place in the tournament. They played a total of 8 games in the last 2 days, 5 yesterday and 3 today. They did awesome! Brea got some awesome hits and did some great pitching. She hit several triples and made some great plays at short stop as well. We took our camper this time and just camped out in the parking lot. It was so much fun! I didn't get too many pictures this weekend because it was just so busy and way too hot. We stayed in the shade as much as possible.

FYI - Little Zayne is still doing amazing! Keep praying for her! I hope to get some pictures of her soon and I'll post them!

Pinnochio techno dancing!

My neice and her husband just got back from a vacation in Europe, and this is a video that she recorded in Prague. It is just hilarious! He dances better than I do! Oh, and you will need to pause my playlist.

Weekend Fun

We are definitely enjoying the summer so far! Friday my best friend Amy flew in and our families went to the county fair. The kids had a blast. I think they rode every ride they were able to. Brea and Amy even rode this ride called the "viper". It was way to fast for me so I chickened out. I could just see myself getting sick. I just don't think my stomach could have handled it. Saturday we just stayed home and worked outside and swam. On Sunday Amy and Addison came back over and we swam and played some more. Breanna just loves Addison and can't get enough of her. I think Addison loves her just as much though. They were flying back home today and we will miss them. We plan to go and visit them sometime this summer.

Luke has finally learned to swim! He just started this yesterday. The bad thing is now he doesn't want to use his floaties at all. Which means not much relaxing for me. He and Jolea are jumping in and diving to the bottom to get rings. They have the greatest time. Here are a few pictures taken of the kids swimming!

Best Friends

Tomorrow is the kids last day of school, with mine to follow on Friday! Yippy! You'll find us poolside for the next 2 months with a trip to Disney World in between there. We are again counting down the days until we leave. The kids are sooo excited! And me too!

Brea finished up her spring softball season with her team taking 1st place in the 12 and under league, and also took home a 3rd place trophy in the Rockwall tournament last weekend. She hit another home run on Saturday out to center field. The teamed played a total of 7 games Saturday and Sunday. We were all exhausted when it was over. The team that took 1st place was actually a team that we had beat already in the tournament. Brea will now start practicing with her new team this weekend and should have her first tournament with them at the end of the month. The girl loves softball. Joey and I love watching her play, but I'm not too sure about doing it in 100 degree temperatures.

The last couple of weeks at school have been very busy. We had a laua and award programs. Luke and Jolea's class also had a beach day which they enjoyed. I have several pictures to post so I hope you enjoy the photos.....oh, and these are also unedited.:)
