Disney World Here We Come!

We're going to Disney! I'm so excited to say that we will be vacationing in Disney this summer. I made our final reservations today at all the great places we'll be eating, and I actually got into every restaurant I wanted. We'll be leaving in July and celebrating my birthday and Jolea's 1 year home at Disney World. We will be there for 6 days. I can't tell you how excited I am. This will be our third trip to Disney World, and it is by far my favorite place to go. Yeah!!!!!!

This was our first trip to Disney in 2004 for Colt's Make a Wish Trip

Diamond Girlz vs. Rockwall Dynamite

This is one of my favorites. It looks like she is saying help me Jesus!

Brea had her first softball game tonight and we won 9 to 3. Brea is pitching and this is her first year playing kid pitch. She had a rough first inning, but ended up doing great. She struck a few out, hit one batter, oops, and threw one out at first base. The team did so great! The pics are a little blurry. I'm going to have to bust out the camera instructions and figure out how to take these action photos better. Enjoy Brea in action!

Beautiful You

Ok, yesterday I had to go to a workshop for my new job. By the way, I haven't mentioned it, but I'm going back to work next school year as the school nurse at the new elementary school being built. Anyway, I had to go to a workshop, so we all got up early, I dressed the kids and Joey took them to school. Around 9:00, I checked my voicemail and I had a message from the owner of Luke and Jolea's school asking if something was wrong with Jolea's feet. The reason is because she had on 2 right shoes! I couldn't believe it, and I take full responsibility. She does have two pairs of shoes that are the same so I just grabbed 2 shoes and put them on her, and never realized that they were the same foot. My mother ended up taking her another pair of shoes to change into to. As soon as picked Jolea up she began to carry on about her shoes. I actually couldn't understand but one word of what she was saying, and that was shoe, but by the way she was throwing around those hands and the tone of her voice I could tell that she was not happy about it. She was telling me all about it. It took everything not to laugh at her, so I just picked her up and gave her a big hug and told her how sorry I was for messing up her shoes. She said "kay" and went about her way. I wish I could've had a picture of her in her two right shoes but she had already changed her shoes. I thought I would share, and I know some of you will get a kick out of this!

"Ellie"

I took these pictures of Jolea this morning after breakfast. She was sitting in the recliner reading to her "Ellie." Jolea sleeps with "Ellie" every night, and would drag her everywhere if I let her. Breanna actually gave Ellie to Jolea after she came home. Ellie is the elephant from Pooh's heffalump (not sure if I spelled that right). I just thought this was so cute and had to capture it.

Pool Ranch

We went on our first ride of the year this weekend. We had a great time. It was very muddy this time, and the kids had a blast. More mudd meant less dust, so that was good. Jolea and Luke did great. Saturday morning we went out and rode about 2 hours. Then Luke said "Everybody is going back to canton to have a picnic and I want to go too." He has a funny way of convincing you to do what he wants. He also gets Canton and camping confused sometimes. He's a mess. We came back for a picnic and a nap and when our friends showed up we headed back out and rode for another 3 hours. The kids didn't complain one time. They absolutely love riding. We ended up coming back late Saturday night. A little mouse in the camper helped cut our trip a little short. We saw a mouse in the kitchen of our camper and I knew I wouldn't sleep a wink with the thing running around in there so I convinced Joey to leave that night. I'll make sure the camper is mouse free before we head out for the next one. Enjoy the pics!

The Bed Wetter

Here's Jolea, aka "the bed wetter", in her diaper. I have not been able to get her to quit wetting in the bed. I have tried cutting off her drinks early in the evenings to keep her from wetting the bed at night, but it doesn't seem to be working. She still goes in her pull up every night! Please, if anyone has dealt with this leave me some ideas in the comments! I'm desperate! She is 4 and still in pull ups.
