We had Luke a birthday party on Saturday. I can't tell you how excited he is to be 4. Here are a few pictures from the party and the weekend.

Happy Birthday Luke

This is Giovanni. We were blessed to have him join our family for Easter lunch this year!

My little Luke is 4 years old! He was sooo excited this morning, and the first words out of his mouth were "am I 4 today?" He wore a special shirt to school today that said "It's my birthday." Here are a couple of pictures of him from this morning and also some photos from Easter.

The Two Eggs......

Luke was in the bathtub the other day while I was putting on my makeup, and this was the conversation.

Luke: Mom, I have to show you something.

Me: What do you need to show me Luke?

Luke stands up.

Luke: I'm going to have two babies cuz I have two eggs.

I had to leave the room because I was laughing so hard, and I didn't want to embarass him. Just when you think that nothing can make you smile or laugh, God throws something like this at you.

Sea World, San Antonio

This week while Brea was on spring break we took a trip to San Antonio. We left out at 6:00 in the morning so the kids would sleep for a couple of the five hours it took to drive to San Antonio. They did great most of the trip. I think the last half hour they got a little restless. Sea World was somewhat a beating but we had a great time. Joey was sick with a stomach bug most of the day, and by the afternoon Luke and Jolea were tired and cranky. They enjoyed the shows but of all the things to do at Sea World they wanted to play in kiddee land. We couldn't even walk by it without Luke crying to play on the spider net. I think the best thing we did was ride the steel eel. It is a roller coaster. Brea, Kelsi, Sawyer, Stacy, Me, and Tabatha all rode together. We had to drag Tabatha on it. But it really made the whole trip seeing the faces of all of us on the picture they took. Brea and Tabatha were both about to cry! It was hilarious! I don't think I breathed the entire ride because I was laughing so hard. I wish I had bought the picture of us. Enjoy the pictures!

T-Ball

I have no pictures to show from TBall practice. He would not let go of my leg long enough. Practice didn't go so well last night. Luke cried nearly the whole time. Joey had picked them up from school and had a couple of errands to run that took too long, and by the time he was through running around it was time for practice. Luke had not had an afternoon snack, and he didn't have his glove so he was very upset. I left work and had to run home to get his glove and bat and when I got to practice he was too upset. He wouldn't let go of my leg and just cried to go home. I finally convinced him to try batting and he did go and hit the ball a couple of times but that is it. The coach would throw the ball to him and he would just watch it go right by him. Practice was at our church also and he knew that there were marshmellows in the kitchen so he kept crying for the marshmellows. He was a stinker. His next practice is tomorrow and Mommy will be home with him all day to make sure he is well rested and to make sure he has that afternoon snack. I just don't think Dad had it all together yesterday. For some reason only us Moms seem to have it all under control sometimes.

Well the snow we were hoping for never happened. I think it all stayed north of us. We woke up to just a small amount on the ground. Not enough to play in, but enough to make a muddy mess. We did have a nice weekend though. Breanna played her last basketball game against the pink foxes and they beat them 26 to 8. We were very excited about that. Now it's softball time! This year is her first year to play kid pitch, and Luke's first year to play T-ball. I should say it will be a busy spring. Luke's first pratice is tomorrow night. He is on a team with several of his friends. Also, he and one of his friends decided that Jolea couldn't be on their team because she was too little. She may be little but I guarantee you she can hold her own against those boys and probably out run them too! I didn't sign her up this year. I'm hoping to put her in gymnastics or dance. Probably gymnastics. We'll see.
