On the trails again!

This weekend we took a trip to Oklahoma. We camped at Lake Murray with a bunch of our friends and my parents. I thought Jolea was going to be a girly girl, but I have to say she is not afraid to get a little dirty. We stopped near the water and all the kids jumped in to take a swim. Jolea went right out to the water and sat down, and Luke was right behind her. She loved it. It was rainy and misting most of the day, and we were freezing. Luke, the protective brother that he is, gave her his dry shirt to put on because she was cold. We drove 2 1/2 hours home today and we were all pretty exhausted. Brea and I had judgement night practice tonight and got home late so all we had to eat tonight was a bowl of ramen noodles. I got the chop sticks out that we bought from Vietnam, and Jolea went to town. She tried to show Brea how to eat with them but Brea just couldn't get the hang of it. Luke was so tired tonight he fell asleep before he had dinner. I felt so terrible, but he was just too tired to eat.

She is definitely not a girly girl! It looks like you all had too much fun! It is fun to see all the experiences you are having with Jolea and how she reacts to them. What a cutie!
